Jessie Stricchiola, Founder

Jessie is one of the original nine founders of SEMPO (the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization), and served two years on the Board of Directors for the organization, during which time she also served as Membership Committee Chair. Since 2002 she has been a guest speaker and moderator at numerous search industry conferences worldwide, including ad:Tech, Search Engine Strategies, Danny Sullivan's Search Marketing Expo (SMX), WebmasterWorld's PubCon, The O'Reilly Web 2.0 Summit, Stanford's Web Publishing Workshop, MarketLive's Ecommerce Summit, and more.

Jessie was the first to identify and publicly expose PPC click fraud in 2001. Her pioneering work has been quoted in numerous trade publications and media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Newsweek, Wired Magazine, The Washington Post, and CNET.com, and her work has been featured on NPR and the BBC.
